Our training DVD lasts no more than 45
minutes and will cover all aspects of pad printing,
including lots of tips and hints (which no one ever

Making a Cliché (Printing Plate)
A pad printing plate in
more commonly know as a "Cliché" (pronounced as a
'clee-shay'). We will show you how to expose your
black and white artwork to a cliché . We will give
you precise exposure times for producing that
perfect cliché.

Mixing Inks
Inks need to be mixed with
"Retarder" to the correct viscosity to ensure
optimum print quality. In this section, we will
discuss how to achieve the correct viscosity and how
and when to mix "Hardener" to ink. We will also show
you how to add ink to the "Cup" - ready to print.

Setting up your machine
This section will show you
how to attach the cliché to your machine and how to
attach the pad to the pad holder.

Printing
This section will show you
how to use the pad printing machine (Closed Cup -
One Colour).

Cleaning
In this section, we will
show you how to clean your machine down after
printing. With our closed cup system, it takes no
longer than 5-10 minutes to clean your machine down.
